Motor? for a 2" slip roll

we roll cylindrical flanged tubes out of flat sheet metal.
we have 2" manual slip rollers that will do then job,
I'm trying to figure out what type of motor to put on it.

when we used a scale on the lever arm- we were using
30 ft/lbs of torque.

any suggestions on the right way to go about doing this?.

(ft-lb x rpm)/5,252 will give you horsepower but will not account for loss in drive.

The easy way would be to look at the rating of various gear reducers once you know the speed (rpm).

To add to Barry1961 you are going to want to calculate the feedrate of the sheet into the rolls. If this is a manual operation you are going to want to adjustable speed to line up the sheet vs. full speed rolling.
