One of my projects conducts me to the use of lead screw, to travel an object above a surface. This device is quite small, as small as the laser device of a CD player. I wanted to use the travelling system of a CD/DVD player, however I do not get the information I need.
I am not an expert in electronic, but to control this object, and in order to have an interface/software on a computer, we need information about motor, and lead screw. I try to find companies but I do not understand how to select such product.
Do you know any company that sells such device (motor + lead screw) and where I can find very precise information? Would you have some advice about this technology?
