Hi everyone hope I can get some help to resolve a hydraulic issue in one of our balers t our plant. When I turn on the pump it the motor draws lots of amperes (70) I took out a valve and cleaned it and the amperage went down to normal operation. However now the door to the baler won't open all the way. I will include some pics for the schematic. I know more will be needed and I will put it as you guys ask them to me. Thanks in advance we been 3 days without doing production due to this baler down. And there is no one in the area that can work in this machine 😞

High current is a result of one three things...

High pressure

High flow

High mechanical load

Telling us that you "took out a valve and cleaned it" is no help other than to suggest that you cleaned a stuck relief valve. That would put the pressure up and would lead to high load on the motor.

What pressure are you seeing before and after you clean the valve?

What did the debris in the valve look like?

Is the system noticeably hotter with the higher loading?

Hello,
Attached is a table of the power consumed in the electric motor if you are 60hz.
To adjust your hydraulic system must be manually energize each of the 4 coils YV136 then YV124-2 then YV124-3 then YV124-4 and then read the pressures at the pressure gauges 25 and 14.
Be careful not to reverse the connection between YV124-3 YV124-4.
