I am making a speadsheet/chart of different motor costs to the end user (industrial). I used catalog list prices from ABB/Baldor for primarily 6-8 pole machines, TWMC for larger medium voltage and Lafert and Toshiba for PM motors. I also added a curve from USDOE for a more common type, not defined but probably 2 & 4-pole. All these groups span 4kW up to 2000kW. I don't need much accuracy. I assumed a list price multiplier of 0.6 for the first four groups and none for USDOE. I am still surprised at how much higher the ABB/Baldor pricing is than USDOE (2-3X). I am trying to get a sense for ROM pricing of more customized motors but still "off the shelf" at the higher end in $/kWm. I am ending up at about $50-100/kWm at about 1000kW.

I am loosely familiar with breaker multipliers being lower. Does 0.6 sound OK or am I fairly high? Thanks in advance for any and all replies!
