Dear Members,
Request some to clear a clarification that, an electric motor having 1400 rpm , 1.1 kw 415 V , 3 phase, is assembled with a gear box delivering the output rpm of 391 and the torque is 66 nm, we wants to increase the output rpm of the gear box as double like 782 as unaltered the torque of the gear box and the input power of the motor as it is. Can we replace the motor by an another one having 2800 rpm, or is there any other solution to attain as mentioned above.

No, it is not possible.

Your original statement is not possible either.

A 1.1kW motor cannot deliver 66N*m of torque at 391 rpm, no matter what gearbox you have. 66N*m at 391rev/min = 2.7kW.

handleman points out an inconsistency with your problem statement ... maybe you mean 1.1kw per phase ?

if you double the power into the gear box, you might get double the power out, for a time, but you'll probably break it.

Yes, Buy a motor rated at 6kW and also a new gearbox..

P = (T * 2 * 3.14 * n)/60 : power = (torque * 2 * 3.14 * RPM)/60 . If the power is a statement of the motor (that is constant), if you double the RPM then the torque has to be divided by 2 !!!
