Any idea where I may find the following:

Explosion-proof starters are available from Killark (Hubbell), Crouse-Hinds, and probably others.

I think a Google search on "explosion-proof motor starters" should turn up some good leads.

It's much better and cheaper to locate the starters in a non-hazardous area if at all possible.

"Dead front delayed action circuit breaking receptacle" is one of those explosion-proof PLUG and SOCKET literally without anything on the front (except the removable weather protection cover on the bottom), once you inserted the male plug you must twist it to be connected. The mechanical interlock acted upon is the one that provide the delay and switching.The idea is to ensure that arching is prevented during insertion.
