Mould release agent 1

We manufacture a Bonded Seal - rubber compound ( EPDM , Nitrile, etc) which is bonded to the inner diameter of a steel washer, to which a bonding agent has been earlier applied.
We use a variety of presses - Compression Transfer, Direct injection for instance.

Does the Forum have any experience of types of release spray for use on the press platens, that is not detrimental to the bonding action?

Our suppliers of similar products as yours use a sprayed-on solution called Crystal Mold release, they spray it on the preheated mold, and it dries, then they lay in the prepared insert.

Thanks for your reply btrueblood, we do in fact use Lord for Bonding Agents, appreciate the Franklynn lead though.
