Hi,

I'm trying to make dynamic analysis of a drive, but I have problem with applying a torque. With torque applied nothing happends, nothing rotates. Analysis works fine with rotational velocity as a load, but I'm obviously recieveng wrong stresses. Could someone help my with applying a torque in my simulation? If necessary I can upload files.

A torque is a nodal load. I guess you apply that load on a face of solid elements. Those element have no rotational DOF at the nodes, so the load cannot act.

I this case create a reference node on the axis, use a coupling to connect that node to your face and apply the torque at that node.
