If I made a spline in a drawing is it possible to make the spline defined? I mated the two endpoints on the spline and when I change the configuration only the endpoints move skewing the spline. I currently select the whole spline, ctrl+drag on it to move it and remove the mates then move it close to the new position. I would like this to be automated when I change the configuration, where the spline is set but movable as a whole. Thanks

Why are you adding a spline to drawing? Then you talk about configurations and the spline switching between configs? Why don't you add a couple of sketchs to your part per config. Then show the sketchs in the drawing views?

I'm not sure what your doing so more information would help.

I'm have several rods of different lengths with a hole through one end. Using a spline I drew a strap attached at the hole. I felt this was easier, rather than building a complicated part that still wouldn't look right. The only problem is I have several hundred drawings to do, and I can't draw a different spline for each configuration. Even if I were to draw the sketch in the part I'd run into the same problem. When I change configurations either the two points I mated move and the rest of the spline stays where it was, or nothing moves and I get an error. I figured there was some way to define a spline a little better so i could move it as a whole. I trade making it into a block but I can't mate parts of a block to anything.
