Moving annotations from model to paper space

I have a drawing with annotations in model space. Is there an automated way to pull some selected annotations from model space to paper space? I would like to generate another scale view and the annotations are in the way. I will need to have both new and old views in this updated file.

If you have express tools installed, there is a command "chspace" that will work perfectly.
