moving edm to new station

I have a topcon gts-212 edm and would like to know how to set up a new station. I can set get a foresight then move the edm to this new point and put the new coordinates into the 'occupied point' but to reset the N angle I have to use trig. Is there a way of backsighting to the previous point and then getting the machine to do this automatically?

Yes.

All Topcon’s have set out programmes inbuilt. Called Layout.

Use the “Backsite” (F2) command in “Layout”

But first you have to set up a file in “memory manager” then input you points.
You able to recall these points in “Layout”.

Did you not get a hand book with your EDM?
