MRI Room Electrical Components

Designing machinery for use in MRI Room which requires electric/mechanical interlock for guarding. Must be non-magnetic device.

Any component or vendor sources for interlocks?

non-magnetic is too generic a requirement and implies a lot of ambiguity.

I would suggest infrared beams with the interlock switching relays magnetically shielded in a metal box or far enough away from the MRI so as to be safe from its field.

good point, but until the location of the interlock is described i.e internal to electrical equipment or some where else (say in the patient area), we can only guess
