I realise this is a bit off topic but I reckon you are a bright bunch here and might give me a steer on this.

I have a customer reviewing MRP systems. There are of course many but he is favouring a product from Sage, the well known accounts package company. Does anyone have experience of it? They like it because they assume getting financial data from the system will be easier than a stand alone MRP system. They already use Sage accounts.

That's pretty key, if you ask me. It's easier to implement such a system if others already know 10-15% of the interface. It's a comfort factor which will ease the learning curve.
