Here I'm again.

What kind of brass is this , any equivalent in former SAE standard?

It used as a electrode core, teflon coated , and a Platiniun tip contact.
In a electrochemical deburring machine.
The electrolite solution is
Sodiun Nitrate 15 in Water , neutralized to Ph & by Nitric Acid.

It appears as though this alloy corresponds to the UNS designation C38500, and has a nominal composition of 57 Cu, 40 Zn, and 3 Pb. The previous trade name was Architectural bronze. ASTM B 455 is one specification that includes this grade. I could not find any reference to it in SAE J461 of J463.
