MSC Patran crashes when I delete a surface or when I start to Mesh 1

Hello,

I have installed Patran 2016 from MSC and I am on windows 10.

When I start using the Patran, it crashes every time I want to delete a surface. or even sometimes a curve.

I know many people use Patran, so I am wondering, is this crashing of the software a normal thing? or is there anything that I have to do?

I would really appreciate the comments and suggestions.

It looks like the Patran DB that you are working on would have been corrupted.

Try creating a fresh Patran DB and then import your previous(corrupted) DB into this new one.

Usually by doing this the previous DB is repaired.

That happened to me also, is a compatibility problem with windows 10.

I spent 5min to open the Patran 2016 Installation & Operations Guide and its mentions that Patran 2016 is only supported on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit OS (see attached)
