I am very impressed by the wealth of information this forum offers. I am about to join HWU MSc petroleum eng. via distance learning! Has any memebr of the forum attended the course via distance education? can you share with me your impression about the course and how it contributed toward your professional goal? The cost seems little too much in American universities...

Perhaps so, but online and outside of country just means a piece of paper to many employers that won't take it seriously, so preceived market value is somthing to consider before just plunking your money down, no? OK, so why not ask some potential employers how they would value that paper.
