What is an average typical price of material and labor installation for MSE vegetated retaining walls on a square foot basis? I'm looking for costs involving geogrids, geomesh, and welded-wire baskets?

The cost is application specific and the selection is influenced by project site soil conditions, constructablity, availability of backfill, project economics, and desired aesthetics. It is difficult to arrive at an average price.

dont forget to include the cost of exploration, construction materials testing, lab testing, etc as these can add up quickly (partially dependent on the level of testing/documentation required by the designer). from experience, i strongly suggest you require the designer to include these services as part of their package.

There are a lot of variables, as mentioned above. But a basic MSE wall should be about $30 per square face foot.
