Multi Feature object from one solid body

If I have a .prt with one solid body, is it possible to break it down to features and edit them? In the example picture below, I'd like to change some of the bends and cut of the part. If not, what is a good method to be able to take a solid body and edit it.

Look for the synchronous modelling tools. Pretty sure they were called that in NX6. They will give you the ability to edit the model in the ways I think you're after.

I see you are using NX 6.

The synchronous commands are probably your best bet here. It appears that your model is made of planar faces and cylindrical blends; if this is the case, synchronous should work nicely. The "move face" command has an option to change the angle of a face. You can pick the face(s) you want to move, specify the rotation axis and enter an angular distance to move the face(s). You can move, change, or delete the cutouts with the move face, pull face, replace face, offset, or delete face commands.

Thank you for the help! I have been playing around with this synchronous modeling. It appears to be able to do the job (although removing bends is difficult and usually gives errors.) It almost seems like the best way is to remove the face after the bend entirely then use one of the other commands to just make the original face larger with the same size as the deleted face. Will this file still be able to be exported as a stp or stl and then used by a vendor to cut and bend it or does this type of modeling ruin the integrity of the model?
