Hi,

How are multi-phase pumps protected from cavitation?

Calling them multi-phase pumps suggests they can deal with both gases and liquids, presumably in any proportion, which would suggest they don't need protection from cavitation at all...

Do you mean "How are pumps for limited two-phase mixtures protected from cavitation?"

A quick look tells me many MP pumps are basically big strong screw pumps.

They are designed to handle wide ranges of gas to liquid volume fractions so cavitation isn't a concern.
