I'm new here and I thought this would be a great site to post some ideas up on. Well, my question is has anyone experimented with injecting water, fuel, and nitrous oxide directly into the intake runner? Of course there are direct port nitrous and fuel injection but what about water injection too? Possibly using injector spacers?

I thought this would be a good solution to pulling ignition timing, running race gas, an overly rich mixture, or only a small amount of nitrous oxide. I still haven't seen anything around the web about multi-point water injection, even though the benefits on gas milage and power could be huge.

yeah um.. not to be um.. sarcastic but when i break out the race gas... the "rich" jets... nitrous oxide.. adjust the timming... and the multi point water injection.. I'm not really looking at my gas milage but how much faster I'm going than the person next to me. needless yes you could do multi point water injection. It would work like normal water injection just smaller orifices.. only see this being used in applications like ITB's.. water injection is a bandage for a poor tune mostly. use washer fluid instead :) only after you know your at the limit of the engine.

I was going to use this to prevent detonation running a large shot of nitrous. I see your point, and I do believe washer fluid and with the methanol / distilled water mixture would be better. But the thing I'm trying to get at is using another cooling fluid injection like this to prevent detonation in an nitrous setup without boost.

A large shot of nitrous?? the methanol/water mix will be a better knock retard agent efectivly providing a minor power boost but the cooling benifits of alcohol and water... I don't see your question I guess. like I explained before you could run it fine but you would have to tune each water jet to the size of one cylinder... you could do some sort of pressurized rail system to minimize cluttered plumbing.
