Multi step impact Analysis

Hi, I'm Mark
I want to perform a simil shot peening simulation, not as transient analysis but as multistep in explicit.
In the first step I can apply the initial condition (velocity) to the first shot but in which way can i define the initial velocity to the second shot using initial condition (without using boundary, because it will be costant for the entire step) into the second step.
I tried with restart and I was thinking to use Import.
Any suggestion

How about just positioning the second projectile further away, so the impact is later.
