Any advice or consensus on the best/most efficient way to run a system that has wet and dry sprinklers on multiple levels? If the levels combined are less than the total area (52,000 sqft for example for a light hazard system), would it be possible to have a single dry pipe valve with zone controls on each floor if we drilled a hole in the check valve on each floor, as stated in 7.2.3.9.1?

This would in essence be 2 risers, 1 for the dry systems on each floor and 1 for the wet, 1 dry pipe valve, and 2 ZCA's on each floor?

Or would each floor need it's own dry pipe valve, (and if so, would it then make more sense to have a single wet riser, and then branch off that riser on very floor with a dry pipe valve for the unconditioned areas)
