Hi there,
I'm working on a variety of DSP Audio Spatialization systems within Simulink but have not yet discovered how to output my audio channels correctly.
Ideally I would like to be able to use my Soundblaster Live card to create a 5.1 output via Simulink.
As far as I can discover, the 'To Wav Device' module will only allow a mono or stereo output over the main L & R channels of the soundcard ie. it is not possible to use this module to output the Centre, Surround or Sub-woofer channels on the correct IO addresses of the SBLive (and therefore hear each signal in the correct loudspeaker).
Additionally I will, in the very near future, need to output my 5.1 channels to an 8 channel digital breakout box (using the appropriate I/O card)
Can anyone point me in the right direction in terms of which Matlab plugin should I be looking at? Is it possible to configure Simulink/Matlab to do multichannel outputs on the SBLive at all?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Chris
