I am working with a large assembly with lots of subassys which I would like to export to Ansys. Since I do not want to export all parts/assemblies, I use suppress parts (checkmark greyed out). This works ok. However, when I temporarily suppress a complete parent assembly (because I would like to change other parts and the assembly is blocking my view) and unsuppress the assembly, all components in this assy are unsuppressed.
I can prevent this from happening by using 'suppression>always suppressed', but unfortunately this does not work when I select components which I would like to 'always suppress' which are in different assemblies... I get the message: 'multiple components can only be editted when they are children of the same occurence of the parent part'. Is there a work-around or something? Or do I have to set suppression state for every (sub)assy independently?
I'm working with NX7.5
