I posted this issue before and jksolid had some good ideas. But I am still having problems.
Just for recap, I want to insert 2 BOMs in the same drawing so that I can group the parts into 2 categories. I need to do this as the parts in one category have different properties than those in the 2nd category. If I put all the parts in one BOM, some parts will have empty row for certain property columns. To be more elegant, I want 2 different BOMs.
I created 2 different Excel BOM templates and inserted BOM twice. It works but both BOMs have the same number of rows. So I have to hide certain rows in them to make them look like I want them to.
Is there a better way to do this? Is there a way that each BOM will show only those parts that have exactly the same properties that correspond to respective BOM columns?
Thanks
