Hello,

similar to the topic referenced in this post, I have not managed to run an analysis with multiple cpus. I have abaqus 6.13 installed on a unix computer. Using the command option "cpus=2" causes the job to cost 6 tokens. (It will be 5 if I run the job with just one cpu.) However, looking at running processes using the unix command "top", only one "standard" program is running and only one of the 8 available cpus is working. I am running a transient sequentially coupled temperature-displacement analysis. The same happens with a linear static analysis.

Does anyone have any advice? As far as I have understood, for multiple cpus you do not need to configure any MPI settings? At least when running local and starting the job from Abaqus/CAE in Windows, I have managed to use multiple cpus.
