I am new to risa and risafloor. I am modeling a CMU building in risafloor that has three roof elevations (approx 11', 12.5' and 22'). I created a floor plan for each elevation and put in my walls. Now I am putting in all my openings and have hit a problem. In the tall portion of the building I have 12' roll-up doors and risafloor does not allow the openings to exceed the height of the first floor plan. It also does not allow openings to be directly above one another. Any tips on how to correctly model this? Am I asking too much from risafloor?

Thanks for any guidance!!!

There isn't a great way to do this in RISAFloor. My suggesting would be to break up your wall.

At the lower level it would be defined as two independent walls with a gap in between them. At the upper level, it would be a single wall, with a opening that extends down to the floor level.

Thanks Josh. I'm not sure why it didn't occur to me to do it that way, makes perfect sense.
