MV 2 casting?

I have a casting that we got in from a customer to examine and it says MV 2 on the side... and in a drawing they gave us it says MV 2 steel

I have never heard of this... I've tried searching on the net with no luck... is it a casting grade of steel or something? thanks for any help!
