In IEC world, a design is connecting 11 kV side of a power transformer to flat copper bus (2 x 1000 x 10 mm), I am a bit worried about the transferred short circuit forces to the transformer bushing (20 NF 3150 type). I couldn't figure out any reference value for the cantilever strength for similar transformer bushings.

It may be justified to assume that the connection conductor inside the bushing will be contributing to the most of the force in lieu of bushing itself? so how it can be guaranteed that the transformer connection would not break during a short-circuit?

Any clues before xmas?

Merry xmas everyone!

Connection to this type of bushing is done through flexible connector ie connector with an expansion joint. If you connect bus bar directly, there are chances of oil leakage.
