I am very keen to learn MX road, and my company are currently using Key Terra Firma, which on the whole i am finding very useful indeed. I am told Key Terra Firma is in many ways very similar to MXRoad, however most highway engineers in the UK are using MXRoad. I am in a chicken and egg situation really, my company dont have any plans to buy MX Road as KTF is considerably cheaper, yet I AM very keen to learn it, as i wont be at my present company for ever and understand that if i ever move i will be expected to have a working knowledge of MX ROad.

My question is this: Do infrasoft or anyone else for that matter produce trial versions of the software or limited time period licenses, or even some software literature, a reference guide for example, to enable lone engineers like myself )to learn how to use the software.

Please help,

Mike

MX road i have used the program and i must admit it is good how ever i have come accross 12D Model. The program leaves MX, CivilCAD etc. in the dust.

I have many contacts with engineers in the UK and it seems many of the firms they work for a leaning towards the package.

Does not answer your question i know but may worth a look.

Happy Hunting
