My factory,a drinking water plant, has ventilation problem namely ,the flow rate of air supplied to the plant is not enough (air change ?). I think this problem is couse by the filter area is not correct. How can I estimate the filter area, and what method I can check? note: The system consist of 4 blowers.

A better method is to check air flow across the room by taking velocity measurement(9 to 16 measurements at one diffuser and then average it) at diffusers. Multiplying the velocity with diffuser area will give you airflow into the room. If your airflow is in cfm then you can calculate no.of air changes as
(airflow in cfm/ room volume in cu.ft)*60.

Check this link for required air changes. The values given are fairly good with some redundancy.

For filter area, filter manufacturers can best help you. You have to select that from pressure drop vs flow capacity curves of the filters.
