Hello,

I'm currently working with a Johnson DX-9100-8454 PLC unit and am trying to interface it in a multi-drop style Modbus RTU network. Problem is, the only RS-485 protocol on the PLC unit is an N2 bus, which I believe is proprietary to Johnson Controls. Spoke with one of their application engineers and evidently I probably need to find some sort of converter or gateway to make this work, which of course Johnson doesn't manufacture. Does anyone know of a place to pick up a N2 to Modbus converter or have a different idea of how this can be done?

Thanks for your time,
Steve

How about these?

If you need a MODBUS master interface:

If you need a MODBUS slave interface:
