NACE MR 0175 and PWHT Requirements

In the below link there is a reference made by Steve Jones about refering the question to NACE, that was in 2007.


It says on the NACE MR 0175 2005 edition para 7.3.3.2

The HRC method may be used for welding procedure qualification if the design stress does not exceed two-thirds of SMYS and the welding procedure specification includes post weld heat treatment. The use of the HRC method for welding procedure qualification in all other cases shall require the agreement of the equipment user.

Does NACE now mandate the use of PWHT to qualify a WPS for the welding of CS material?

Read the text again. It's about the allowable hardness test method Rockwell versus Vickers; not about PWHT, or no PWHT
