NACE MR0175/ISO15156:2015, Design base

Dear Corrosion Fellows,
There is a statement in NACE MR0175/ISO15156 :2015 regarding the "load control design Method" and "Strain based design method". For strain based design method, other tests may required.
My questions are:
1- What are the definition of two design method introduced in NACE
2- What are the test method may required for strain based method which has not been addressed by NACE MR0175/ISO15156 and be considered

1. A Google search on 'strain based design' will give you plenty of reading to research the differences in design approved.

2. Given that a strain based approach allows deformation which can dynamically affect mechanical properties,and thus SSC resistance, it follows that testing will have to approximate such conditions. Since there are no such published standard tests, it is not possible for the ISO/NACE standard to reference any leaving it to the end user to devise a bespoke qualification.
