I'm looking for the NACE Standard for hydrotesting.
Is there a perfect drain means for preventing contamination of Cl? (Or any recommended means for drain?)
We had a GHT Reactor which is cladded with S.S. 321.
We should do a hydrostatic test with it.
Unfortunately it's cladded with S.S. 321, there's a possibility that Cl SCC occurs.
Here are the points I'm worried about...
1. Is there any special means to prevent contamination of hydrotesting media (we use C.C.C.? How can we fully drain or dry it? Just an air blowing and purge for long time is an answer?
2. Have you ever experienced hydrostatic testing for an equipment which is capable of occurring Cl SCC? How do you drain totally? Do you have any special technical standard for it?
