I have a mesh made with Nastran and saved as a .dat file.
I'd like to run a transient analysis in Workbench with this mesh.
I've opened the .dat file with the Finite Element Modeler, but when converting it to Parasolid, it omits some parts saying they have problematic surfaces. Is there a way to directly plug the original mesh points into a Workbench analysis without this "skinning" process?
There's also the option of saving it as an .inp file to be opened with APDL, but I don't know how to subsequently export the mesh to Workbench.
Thank you in advance.
