I am working on an intervertebral replacement disc and I was wondering if anyone can tell me the freqency in hz for titanium and what would happen to a material that was put inside a matrerial that had a natural frequency of 118.7, 96.8, 76.8 respectivly
For the Ti component what geometery are you talking about? The natural frequecies are going to depend on the geometry of the part. You are asking a very specific question that cannot be answered without an FEA modal analysis. A modal analysis should give you your natural frequency spectrum.
To answer your question generally the natural frequencies of the component will be effected if you insert a different material inside, but its going to depend on the stiffness and mass of the added material.
