Naval brass cable glands? where to find

Hi,

We're involved in some projects offshore west africa where it's required to use either "naval brass" or "nickel plated" cable glands. This make sense. But is "naval brass" (in accordance with ASTM B21/B21M-6) commercial avaliable? As far as I can figure out the poor machinability for "naval brass" makes it more economical to use brass (for instance UNS C38500) and then nickel plate it. If someone have a name of a supplier making cable gland from "naval brass" it will be highly appreciated.

Hawke International are the people, a UK company. Bill Hawke invented what we today call the compression seal cable gland.
No one uses naval brass anymore and those who think they do, have something else.
Brass cable glands with nickel-plating are very common offshore and elsewhere (even if some ppl think that they've got stainless steel!)
