nbb.exe file takes all computer power??

Hello

When I am trying to solve an FEM structure the nbb.exe file takes all the computer-power, and the message that says "please wait while new application starts" comes up.

I am running I-deas 8 m2 on Windows XP PRO. plase help

I do not think u can run IDEAS 8 in XP PRO.
