Need a software for bar bending schedule

Hello,
I am an structural engineer and usually have nothing to do with BOQs. In fact I have never prepared one in my 9 years career. But now there is a commitment for which I have to prepare an estimate of reinforcement for my design. Hand calculation is lengthy and tedious, I have tried to done some work but don't have any experience and time. If the community here could suggest software to make my work easy, would be very helpful.
Also, the structural engineers here, does it lie under your responsibilities to prepare or check BOQs for your designs?

What stage are you at? I've never provided more than very rough percentages as set out in Fiona Cobb's SE handbook.

I have structure drawings prepared. Consider no work done for steel quantities.

Oh right. I'm pretty my bog standard excel bar bending sheet has a tab for steel weight.

I got it as part of this pack from the concrete centre. Obviously this is UK and for BS 8666 but I imagine American / European etc versions are available. Although the BBS isn't actually listed so would be worth checking with them.

I'm of the mind that why spend days creating a spreadsheet when I can buy one for £100.
