Dear all experts,

I sketched a simple PFD for stripping process, please refer to this attached. Some questions need all you to comment in this drawing,

1.when the liquid flow out from tower bottom to receiver, need an Equilibrium Line to ensure the mass flow is well, or adjust the pressure of receiver?

2.when the level of receiver is reached high, liquid will flow to storage drum, need an Equilibrium Line to balance vapor pressure between both if we didn't add a pump for pumping?

3.If I had something wrong on this designation, please correct me if needed, thanks!!!

If you put in an equilibrium line between storage and reciever it will only flow from reciever to storage because of pressure difference is that way.

The question is, How do you know what the pressure is through the system and how do you keep it there.

You have over specified the liquid reciever. The TC valve cooling the feed to the reciever has set the pressure, to the vapor pressure of the liquid.

I'd put the liquid reciever on pressurre control and open what you have labled as alevel control when the pressure gets to 18 bar. The temperature should be selected to a temperature higher than atmoshperic temperature.

The liquid storage Will allow the product to cool and condense at a lower pressure.

Dear Dcasto,

Could you please add your idea on this drawing and show me if I want to run this improvement at actual plant, thank you veru much.
