need Australian standards for AS1310 and AS1311 from 1972

HI - Can anyone assist with copies of Australian standards AS1310-1972 and AS1311-1972. In particular the pagees on Tensile force, area testing Elongation etc...

Earliest accessible I have is 1987.

You might get 1972 from Standards or a University Library or CIA/CCAAA or Consult Australia libraries.

The common strand sizes and properties have not really changed

12.7 100.1mm2 184KN
and
15.2 143.2mm2 250KN

Esp is 193000MPa average.

Relaxation would be the main change. in 1972m, there was only Normal Relaxation strand. No Low Relaxation.

thanks Rapt. i thought there were other slight differences such as size being 12.5mm instead of 12.7mm.

its weird how the old code is not availsble on standard australia website (ie their full data base seems to exclude these 1972 coded).

Just looked in Warner and Faulkes Text book,

They list it as 12.5 with an area of 97.5 and Breaking force of 184,

But from memory, we always used
area = 100.1 and Breaking force of 184KN, so same force but higher area so lower breaking stress.

For some reason the CIA subscription (which is supposed to give access to all Australian Standards for temporary download) does not list anything for AS 1310 or 1311.
