Hello everyone, I'm a master's student trying to model piled raft foundation.
I've modelled my piles and raft as elastic material and for soil I've used drucker Prager plasticity. For interactions I've used master slave concept and I've used the option *find contact pairs* in *interaction section* which automatically finds contact between pile, raft and soil and I've used finite sliding. Is there any problem with my modeling?
When I try to run the job *without plasticity (only elastic)*, it is getting completed but if I *use plasticity* for soil (I've even tried it with Mohr Coulomb) it gets aborted.
The errors which I faced were plasticity/creep did not converge and negative Eigen values.
Can someone please help me with this problem.
Also, there is an option for cap plasticity in ABAQUS. What's the difference between selecting *drucker Prager* option and *cap plasticity option*?
Here is my file link bit.ly/3oj9A0y
