Hello all

I have been trying to locate a GE material spec A16B99A1 or A16B99C1 called out on a 1984 drawing 1333M60. I have tried google, looked in some of our old GE spec books, asked some approved GE manufacturers but cannot seem to locate anyone with the spec or anyone who is able to identify the material. I read in a previous post where someone was able to reference an old GE handbook provided to GE engineers back in the day. Hopefully someone will be able to identify this material or direct me as to where I can find this spec.

Now that I have found my GE materials book (a 1970 version-I keep it in the same drawer as my slide rules) it seems that the A16BXX section in my version only goes up to A16B67. This must have been a material added to a later version. From this book all I can tell is that it is an organic, synthetic material. When it left off with 67, it was listing heat shrinkable polyester tubing.

Sorry,

But I did notice after I submitted the post that this is the metals/metallurgy forum and this is a non metallic plastic material. There may be some plastic oriented fora that might have someone lurking there from the former GE Plastics divisions that might know.
