SUbject says it all. I am making control arm bushings that were originally out of most likely 8620. I would like to switch to 7075 T6 and I have been told that bmw teflon hard coats theirs. If anyone knows where I can find some info let me know or has other input.

Thanks

I have had very positive experience with Magnaplate in the food processing industry. I have used their coatings on steel, stainless, and aluminum parts for their combination of anti-stick, corrosion control, and durability.

I'm not affiliated with Magnaplate in any way.

Tweaking hardness can reduce wear something like nominally 1 or 2 X.
Tweaking Lubrication potentially can reduce wear 10X
