Hello all,
I agreed to do a side job when I found the model I needed on one of those online 3D sites. I just need to make some modifications and billed accordingly. However, I purchased the .STEP model online and it downloaded as surfaces. I have no idea how to work with surfaces especially when over 300 of them are faulty or have gaps.

I am in dire need of a midsize 4WD pickup model and wary about doing another online purchase. As long as the model is solid I can make the mods I need. No interior details are needed. Ford, Chevy, Toyota, etc. makes no difference.

Thanks in advance,
BB

If its a a single or a couple of knitted surfaces you could thicken the surfaces to a solid.

There is a selection if the surface is as they say "will hold water" it will say "Create solid form enclosed surface" or something to that effect. I don't have SW up to give you the exact message. When you select that option and click OK it should move the knitted surface to a solid.
