Hello!
i am more of a general Research and development guy..
and I always have personal projects WAY outside my normal realm.. perhaps you can help me with some questions and point me to specific information.
Intro...
1. at the current time, the intake structure can only be of the extruded desighn... that is, it's features look allot like a sandwhich; two planes of metal, and any of the ducting or curved sections I will describe are sandwiched between these two parallel plates. Sort of like If you had a rectangular duct and decided you were going to form and fit curved shapes that hug the walls to optimize air flow.
general questions...remeber that these are extruded shapes/curves..as if you drew a line and then lifted it out of the paper..and then it becomes a sheet with the same shape.
1. I need a simple, perhaps a java applet, that let's me understand tear drop shapes in an air flow.. most importantly.. how does one minimize exit turbulence..
2. I need a simple, perhaps an java applet, that let's me see effects of changing air direction in a tube.. especially
coanda type effects... ect..
3. I need a simple, perhaps a jave applet, that let's me examine effects of joining two air streams that start out with a large area and will end up exiting into a smaller area...
are there any simple programs to help develope this kind of intuition?
