Need specs & chem analysis for 4042, 4047, 4640...

These materials were spec'd for building the Browning 1919A4 machine gun. Mil-spec was QQ-S-624. Any leads on where to find info on this mil-spec also appreciated.

You can find the chemistry and physical properties on:

you will likely find that several of the materials are no longer used.

I'm not sure where to find old military materials spec. you might try a military history group or an office like that in the defense dept.
