I need to calculate the torque required to use a thd cutting screw #6x.25 which will thread into a plastic hub with a hole size of .115±.004. Plastic material: ACETAL HOMOPOLYMER OF DELRIN 150 OR 500 SERIES.
Between the screw and hub is another plastic hub of the same material where the head of the screw will mount, between that a rubber diaphragm, then a stainless steel disk backing up the diaphragm which mounts on a shoulder of the plsastic hub. Whew!
