Does anyone know of a manufacturer of 304 SS Belleville Washers for a #6 Bolt? Below are the actual measurements taken from the Belleville Washer that I need to replace.

.275 OD
.139 ID
.015 THK.
.025 Overall Height

Go to McMaster-Carr and search for product number 9713K55, or browse their catalog for "stainles steel belleville."

That is a good question...because the part was so small we were not able to test carbon content and of course the reported chemistry matches 302 as well. 304 and 302 have increased chromium and nickel for corrosion resistance, toughness and ductility, but increasing the carbon in the 302 wouldn’t this make the 302 less corrosion resistant than 304? What are your thoughts…Thanks

Mechanicalchef,
Thanks for the info, I have to make a decision to use 304 or 302...what are your thoughts on the two materials?

thanks

Yes, 302 is considered less corrosion-resistant than 304, but it's a pretty minor difference unless you are welding the material or operating at elevated temperatures (>800F).

thanks for everyones input...its been a great help!
